Donate in memory

We know how important remembering a loved one is and we have a range of ways to give to suit everyone. Make a one-off donation in memory of someone by clicking the Donate in memory button below.

Or why not consider setting up a lasting tribute to your loved one, support us through a through a funeral collection, have a leaf on one of our memory trees and more.  Find out about these options on our Ways to Remember page.

Our Light Up A Life event each December is an opportunity to join with others to remember those family and friends who are no longer with us. During the service we light candles to fill the Cathedral with light and our Books of Remembrance with your dedications will be blessed and available to view at the end of the service.  Click the Light Up A Life button below to find out more.

Sponsor a nurse

We’re often asked how you can make a difference in our patients’ and families’ lives. The answer is simple: set up a regular gift to Sponsor a Cornwall Hospice Care nurse.

With your support, our nurses provide peace, comfort, and calm when someone is nearing the end of their life, seven days a week, 365 days a year, in our hospices and Cornish community. Our hospice care is 100% free but funded by you. We can only reach all those who need us thanks to incredible people like you, who choose to support us, their local hospice charity, with a regular gift. You can sponsor a nurse for as little or as much as you like, enabling us to confidently plan for the future.

Festive Wishes

Join us in showing your appreciation for all our nursing staff, doctors, housekeepers, administrators, therapists, counsellors, volunteers and chefs who will be working in our hospices over the festive period.

Let our hospice teams know how much they mean to you, and give them that extra boost this Christmas, as they turn our hospice into a home from home for all those who will be with us this December.

If you are able you can also leave a donation.  By doing so you will be making a huge difference to all those whose lives we touch.

Easyfundraising online shopping

Easyfundraising

Easyfundraising turns your online shopping into every day magic!

They have partnered with over 7,000 brands, so that when you shop online, they will donate a small percentage to our charity. It won’t cost you any extra, the donation is covered by the participating brand.

Brands pay us a commission because when you start your shop from the Easyfundraising website or mobile phone app, they can see we sent you to them. If you make a purchase, a commission is generated, and we turn that into a donation – magic!

Just click on the button below to visit the Easyfundraising website, or pop onto your smart phone’s app store and search for “Easyfundraising” to get registered.  It takes just a minute or two to sign up.

What is the Gift Aid scheme?

Gift Aid is a government scheme by which charities can reclaim tax on donations from a UK taxpayer. This means your donations of money and items will be worth 25% more, so for every £1 donated, we can claim an additional 25p. There is no cost to the donor.

Example: You make a cash donation and sign up for Gift Aid with us. We can claim an extra £2.50 in Gift Aid from the government as long as you have paid £2.50 in UK tax to cover this. So your kind donation has now turned into £12.50!

You have to be a UK taxpayer to be able to Gift Aid your donation – meaning when you choose to Gift Aid, we need your full name and postal address so that the government can confirm you are eligible.

Just a few minutes of your time will help us continue funding the care we can offer to our patients and the support we provide to their families – and remember, this is at no cost to you!

Find out more about Gift Aid on the government website by clicking the first button below.
