What’s the deal?

After a full safety briefing on the ground, you’ll be expertly fitted into your harness and meet your tandem skydive partner.  It’s then off to the plane where you’ll spend around 20 minutes climbing to 10,000ft, enjoying the spectacular views of the Cornish coastline until it’s Skydive time!

You’ll then go from 0-120mph in 10 seconds, falling from 10,000 feet followed by a 5 minute parachute ride before landing safely back to earth for all your friends and family to see – what an adventure and celebration!

You can also choose the date you want to do your tandem skydive, perfect if there is a special reason behind why you want to do this for Cornwall Hospice Care. So why not sign up for the experience of a lifetime and help us to carry on caring for all those living with terminal illness in Cornwall.

The Cornish Parachute Club run tandem skydives every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from March to November (weather permitting) so get in touch and get it in your calendar.

Why your fundraising matters

You’ll be raising money for Cornwall Hospice Care to fund the vital end of life care we provide at our two Cornish hospices in Hayle and St Austell.  We also work in the local community providing support and comfort to those dealing with terminal illnesses, so your fundraising really will make a difference to people’s lives, making every day matter.  Find out more about the care we provide here.

Set up an online fundraising page

Setting up an online fundraising page with JustGiving takes just a few minutes, and makes sharing what you’re doing with those near and far very easy.  It’s quick and simple for loved ones to donate to your challenge and you can share updates on your page too. We also have Sponsor Forms you can download and print, if you prefer a more traditional fundraising method.

How about holding an event?

Bake sales, quizzes and bingo nights are really fun ways to raise money – we have a team of dedicated fundraisers here to help you with any ideas you may have, so please get in touch if you have any questions.
