The Recreate Challenge
Our Recreate Challenge is part of our Sustainable September Campaign.
The challenge gives you the chance to get creative by collecting items from our shops and then recreating into something useful!
The challenge gives you the chance to get creative by collecting items from our shops and then recreating into something useful!
Each of our shops have a small amount of materials, (both textile and paper) available for you to collect and then recreate in to something useful, beautiful or fun! These materials are either unsold or unsellable, but still have so much potential for reuse.
They are free of charge, all we ask is that you share your creations with us by tagging us on Facebook and Instagram @chcshops. (If you’re not a social media user, you can email photos and video to communications@cornwallhospice.co.uk). We encourage you to take photos and video of your process and share with us and your friends.
The materials are available at all our shops, but are very limited so get there first. Please respect the quantity available, and don’t take more than you can use.
For inspiration on what to recreate with your materials, please head to our Pinterest board here.
We’ve had a search through YouTube and found lots of helpful content to help you create.
Don’t be scared to go your own way though! Perhaps you’ll follow these videos step by step or just use them to get you started.
If you have tutorials of your own that you think would help others taking part in our recreate challenge – please share them with us by email communications@cornwallhospice.co.uk
We really want to see what you make! It’s yours to keep but sharing your makes might just help inspire someone to get creative and help reuse existing materials for something new.
