Why is the monthly payment £4.34 a month?
There are 52 draws in the year and in order to collect by Direct Debit in 12 equal monthly instalments we need to collect £4.34 per month which is £1 per chance per week.
How will I know if I have won?
The draw normally takes place every week on a Friday, except in exceptional circumstances. The weekly winning numbers are published after each draw. You can check if you’ve won on the results page.
If you are a regular member who has won the £1,000 the £50 or the Rollover, you will be contacted by a member of the team by phone to inform you. If you have won one of the other prizes, you will receive a cheque in the post automatically within 7 days of the draw.
If you have purchased a one-off ticket at one of our shops or an event you will need to check the results either on this website on our results page, in our shops or by calling 01726 66868 and choose option 4.
Claiming your shop ticket prize is simple. You can:

Why can’t I use a credit card to pay?
The Gambling Commission, who we are licenced by, do not permit use of credit cards to reduce the risks of harm to consumers.
How does the weekly draw work?
Every Friday that your lottery number/s have a £1 credit from your advanced payment, your unique lottery number/s are entered into our electronic draw.
Our computer randomly picks 52 numbers from the valid lottery numbers. If your number is the same, then you win a prize; the order of matching is the order of the prizes.
How does the rollover work?
Each week there is a £200 rollover prize, which if it’s not won, will roll over to the next week’s draw to a maximum of £10,000 when it becomes a guaranteed prize.
For this prize the computer can choose from our whole number range including lottery numbers not sold in that week.
Where do the profits from the Cornwall Hospice Care lottery go?
All profits go directly towards funding Cornwall Hospice Care a 24/7 Cornish healthcare charity that provides end of life support for people with terminal illness and their families at no cost.

What measures are in place to prevent problem gambling?
Cornwall Hospice Care Lottery is committed to providing a safe and fun lottery experience for our players. With this in mind, we have introduced a number of measures to protect our players and to promote responsible gambling.
All entrants to the Cornwall Hospice Care Lottery must be 18 years of age or older. Players wishing to enter more than three plays in the weekly draw will require the approval from a Cornwall Hospice Care Lottery team member to do so.
We understand that some people may wish to take a break from gambling and can request to self-exclude themselves from the Cornwall Hospice Care Lottery. Brides and Grooms wishing to spread their joy of getting married can purchase £1 lottery tickets in personalised wedding favours to support hospice care in Cornwall, giving their guests a chance to win up to £10,000!
