What does a Truro Furniture Shop Volunteer do?

The role of our Truro Furniture shop retail volunteers is varied and no two days with us are the same. Volunteering with us really is very interesting. If you want to make a difference in your local community while surrounded by brilliant and quirky furniture finds apply now to volunteer with us!

Every single hour of time you gift us as a volunteer helps us to provide excellent care for the residents of Cornwall at both our hospice in patient units.

Truro Furniture shop volunteering will include the thrill of selling and engaging with our great customers. You might work on the till, welcome our customers into the shop and help us to assemble furniture to display in store.

What you do to help us out as a volunteer in our Truro Furniture shop may vary in relation to the time you are available to offer us, so if you are looking to volunteer in a friendly team and welcoming atmosphere, come along and meet us and see what volunteering could mean for you.  We are really keen to add you to our existing local team.

Truro Furniture Retail Volunteering can include

  • Welcoming and helping our customers
  • Serving on the till
  • Assembling furniture to sell in store
  • Keeping the shop displays fresh and interesting
  • Promoting our Cornwall Hospice Care Lottery
  • Helping us to improve our customer experience
  • Being part of our team
