Gender Pay Gap Reports
Gender Pay Gap Reports are a tool for employers to disclose the difference in the average hourly wage of men and women across a workforce and is part of the government’s wider strategy to achieve gender equality in the workplace.
The Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021 regulations meant that from 2022, organisations with over 250 employees have to, by law, report on their gender pay gap, showing a ‘snapshot’ date of their employees in June each year and reporting on the hourly gender pay gap for those employees on the same date in December of that year.
We are also required to publish a statement setting out what, in the employers’ opinion, are the reasons for the gender pay gap in their company and what measures are being taken or proposed to be taken by the employer to eliminate or reduce that pay gap.
