Our Walk Talk Kernow Godrevy event will take place on Thursday 20th February 2025. We will meet outside the café by the benches at 10.00am to register.
Walk Talk Kernow is a FREE adult bereavement support group run by Cornwall Hospice Care. Whilst walking in nature, each group provides a space for those who are bereaved and seeking social connections with others.
Key information about Walk Talk Kernow Godrevy
- We will take a moderate walk of approximately 2 mile circular to the RNLI Lifeguard Station towards Gwithian, returning to the café for refreshments with the group finishing at 12pm.
- The walk is at strolling pace (an amble NOT a ramble) along either the high tide line across the beach or via the nature reserve and looping either way before heading back.
- The café and walk are accessible to most although there some steeper parts, uneven ground and slope to the beach. Not suitable for wheelchairs or wheeled walkers. If the access over the bridge is impassable, we will walk towards the lighthouse.
- Suitable footwear and appropriate clothing are essential.
- Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.
- Our team will be wearing Cornwall Hospice Care lanyards so do look out for them.
