Join Cornwall Hospice Care for their annual Christmas Fun Run with Reindeer Roundup! Schools and children of all ages across the county are taking part in our festive fundraiser where you can run, jog, walk, or even dance to raise funds for Cornwall’s adult hospices this Christmas.

Plus pupils can compete to be your school’s or nursery’s top Reindeer Roundup fundraiser – the top 3 in every school will receive a Santa suit and have the opportunity to round up their unruly reindeer!
All you have to do to register your school or nursery for Cornwall Hospice Care’s Reindeer Roundup is follow the pink ‘Sign up’ button and fill out the form. It only takes 5 minutes and you are officially ready to join us as we get festive this season!
Each participant must raise a minimum of £5 to take part. This covers the cost of the resources and is mandatory for every participant to be able to take part. Every pound raised above that is going directly to funding the care in our 2 hospices right here in Cornwall.
With your support, our nurses provide peace, comfort, and calm when someone is nearing the end of their life, seven days a week, 365 days a year, in our hospices and Cornish community. Our hospice care is 100% free but funded by you, so every pound makes a real difference.
The easiest way to get fundraising is to set up a JustGiving page now by clicking HERE. See our instructions below to set up a JustGiving team for your school. Parents and pupils can then simply share their pages with friends and family and let them know what a crazy thing your school or preschool is doing in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care!

You can pick a date to suit your calendar and if you have any other ideas or don’t fancy the festive fun run but would love to get involved in another way then we would love to hear from you – every kind of fundraising counts and will make the world of difference to all those living with terminal illness in Cornwall.
You could host a Reindeer or Santa dress down day, festive dance off, or any themed activity you can think of. All ideas are welcome.
Why not make Reindeer Roundup a part of your school’s Christmas fundraising by completing it on the same day as your Christmas fete or combine with another Christmas event to make an even more memorable day for all!

Can all abilities get involved?
YES – of course! Create a distance of your choosing or have 2 distances that pupils can choose from. Run, jog, walk, or dance – it’s your event!
Is there a main event or are fun runs arranged at each setting?
All Reindeer Roundup fundraisers are to be held at each individual setting on a date and time of your choice.
I’m concerned about the fundraising element!
Fundraising can seem like a daunting task, but once you tell your friends and family what you are doing, you’ll be surprised how keen they are to donate to the cause and show their support. Simply sharing your JustGiving page to social media can be a super effective way of fundraising.

What does my £5 participant fee cover?
The £5 fee for each participant goes towards purchasing your reusable reindeer antlers, delivery of materials, and then a small amount goes towards the special care and support that Cornwall Hospice Care gives it’s patients and their loved ones.
If I raise more than £5 will I recieve extra pairs of antlers?
Unfortuantely not. We would welcome you to raise as many funds as possible to help us provide vital care in our local adult hospices but cannot offer extra antlers to those who raise £10 or more. We endeavour to keep wastage to a minimum and so will only order the exact number of antlers we need for the number of participants.
