Participants on our Mouth Care training course will gain an overview of the importance of providing high quality mouth care in palliative and end of life care patients.
This 3 hour training session will cover
- oral assessment
- delivery of oral care, including treatment of a limited range of oral problems in line with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence’s (NICE) guidelines
- consider techniques in provision of care to those patients who are resistant to mouth care
This training is for Health Care Assistants and Registered Nurses delivering palliative and end of life care to patients.
Course cost includes refreshments.
