We’re delighted to have the Fontana Open Garden included again in our 2025 events calendar and our thanks go to Derek and Marina Bishop for allowing access to their incredible garden to support our Cornish charity.
When you can visit the Fontana Open Garden
Fontana Garden will be hosting three open gardens over 2025 starting on Sunday 4th May at 1pm . Don’t miss entry to this spectacular garden – enjoy an outing with family and friends to see this spectacular garden at its best at this time of year.
This event is organised by Derek and Marina Bishop of Fontana Garden in support of Cornwall Hospice Care.
What you’ll experience at Fontana Open Garden
Fontana is an stunning enclosed 14 acre garden including wild gardens with primroses, anemones & bluebells, a bamboo garden, waterfalls & rockeries all providing a unique experience and breath taking views across the whole gardens and St Austell Bay.
Facilities at the Fontana Open Garden
- No booking required
- Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome
- Toilets available
- Parking available on the road (please do not park at Trenython Manor or in the garden
- Refreshments available
- Fontana Garden is a valley garden with steep slopes and can be slippery when wet so it is not suitable for wheelchairs or people who are unsteady on their feet.
- Sensible footwear is strongly advised
- Payment by cash please
Directions to Fontana Gardens
From Tywardreath head to Fowey on the Castledore Road. Trenython Manor will be on your right hand side and Fontana Garden is located just before the hotel.
