All Together – Edition 169
What a busy time we’ve had recently; we’ve enjoyed our first ever sustainable Fashion Show, shared stories as part of Hospice Care Week including that of patient Leonie (pictured below) who we helped get to her brother’s wedding, and celebrated our newly acquired Veteran Aware status. We round up all these activities in today’s edition of All Together.
We’ll also meet one of our patient’s whose hobby got out of hand, now we’re finding homes for his thousands of football match programmes. We’ll hear about the Corporate volunteers who made a difference at our Daniel’s Lane site last Friday and from a Ward Volunteer who’s promoting a Christmas song in support of our charity. See the beautiful rose planted at Mount Edgcumbe Hospice by Sir Cliff Richard, we think in the 1980s, and we’ve found an unusual use for a used Covid Test!
