Our Cornwall Hospice Care podcast

If you love to pop your headphones in or switch on your smart speaker, why now listen to the Cornwall Hospice Care podcast?

We launched a new Podcast in our 40th year in 2020!  It’s called “Two Old Choughs: A Tale of Two Hospices” and features Tamsin Thomas (Head of PR & Communications) and Gina Starnes (Director of Clinical Services), plus guests, talking about the many and varied aspects of Cornwall Hospice Care, hospice care in general and lots more.

If you’ve not heard about Podcasts before, they are just like short radio programmes made into episodes you can listen to whenever it suits you – on your desktop, tablet or phone!

You’ll find episodes about our history and the beginnings of hospice care in Cornwall, chats with some of our amazing volunteers, lymphoedema patients sharing their stories and those who’ve taken on fundraising challenges for us too.

Our Podcasts are available on most of the popular streaming sites – see links to some of the most popular ones below – we’re on many others too – just pop “Two Old Choughs” in the site’s search bar to find us.

In the meantime, you can listen to all episodes right here using the player below.  Keep an eye out for new episodes – we try to publish as regularly as possible.

If you are a SPOTIFY subscriber, you can listen here.

It’s also now available on APPLE PODCASTS.

If you listen via GOOGLE PODCASTS, it’s here.

By subscribing, you’ll be the first to know when we make a new film public.  It could be a new hospice story from a patient or their family who has experienced our care, a glimpse of an upcoming fundraising event to tempt you or helpful information for those under our care that you may need to know.

You can also take a virtual tour around our hospices via our YouTube channel.

If you’re unfamiliar with Cornwall Hospice Care, our film called “This is what we do” is a great place to start.  It was filmed over a 24-hour period in July 2022, with no actors or staged scenes – just our team doing what we do.
